Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
The 2025 Prep Redzone WI Player of the Year is one of the top athletes still uncommitted at this point of the recruitin cycle. The senior RB has all the film and production possibly needed to prove he is a college back. You will see him in the backfield taking handoffs or direct snaps. With the ball in his hands he dominates with his patience and vision. He knows where to attack and allows it to develop. Once he sees it open up for him the senior is through the lane instantly. In the open field you will see him repeatedly beat pursuit angles deep downfield on his long TD runs. You will also see that he has the contact balance to easily power right through arm tackle attempts or a swat at his legs. Once the 5’10” 195 lbs RB gets rolling it is tough to slow him down. Come and get this steal for your RB room.

. He also locked it up with his week to week efforts. I don’t believe there was an RB in WI who did a better job of reading his OL and the flow of the play while finding the lane to attack. Collins played patient, trusts his eyes and then attacks the hole without hesitation. That running style behind the line of scrimmage is a must for the top RBs, so that is what we need in our Perfect RB recruit. Collins does a great job of seeing the field and quickly understanding how to attack it, when to cutback, and where his blocks are at.

Christian was able to put together one of the greatest rushing seasons that we have ever seen. That is saying a lot for a state that is historically run heavy when it comes to offensive schemes. He led the way in rushing yards, yds/game, and TDs. He led his team to a State Championship where he once again put together one of the best single game performances we have ever seen. Over the entire season you can see that he was responsible for nearly 60% of all yards and TDs for the team despite the fact that every defense knew the ball was going to go to him a vast majority of the time. Collins put on a show to remember in 2024.

put together what may be the greatest individual performance we will ever see at a State Championship Game. He set the record for rushing yards in a Championship Game for all divisions and also set records in attempts and TDs for the D3 Game. The outstanding day did a fantastic job of showcasing his talents. Behind the line he is a patient runner with the burst to attack the hole as soon as it opens. Once he attacks, Christian can win with speed or power. The senior will run behind his pads and rip through arm tackles without getting knocked off balance. His balance and low center of gravity allows him to pile up yards after contact. Christian also proved that he has enough speed to play at the next level. He was able to run away from a lot of speed on the defensive side of the ball for huge chunk plays and long TD runs. The senior needs to be on your radar. He is a massive steal and still looking for offers. Check him out!

I love watching the film of the dominant senior RB out of Green Bay Notre Dame. The 5’10” 195 lbs RB is a mass of power and contact balance that pinballs his way through defenders on the way to massive chunks of yards after contact. Christian has that innate ability to stay balanced while taking hits and also keeping his legs churning. That strong lower body never quits until he is gang tackled to the ground. Collins also has the athleticism to be a next level prospect. When he hits the seam the burst is there and the speed is there to gash a defense. Christian has developed strong instincts for carrying the football. He is one of the best available senior RBs in WI.

You can’t predict the leading rusher for 2024 and not include the dominant leader from 2023. Christian put together an absurd junior season with over 2,500 yards. That heavy workload worked like a charm for GB Notre Dame as they made it to Level 4 of the WIAA playoffs. The team will return talented offensive linemen to continue to open up lanes, plus a versatile TE in James Flanigan James Flanigan 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Green Bay Notre Dame | 2025 State WI who is an impact as a run blocker. Look for Collins to get a heavy workload this fall as the team looks to replace their QB1 also. A big year is on the way for the ’24 RB.
