earns the superlative for Most Disruptive. At 6’4”, 310 pounds, he’s a towering presence in the middle of the defense, capable of wreaking havoc as both a pass rusher and run defender. His ability to collapse the pocket forces quarterbacks into bad throws, leading to incompletions and interceptions. His impact is undeniable, whether he’s generating sacks or pressuring the passer.
One area where he can take his game to the next level is run defense. While his scheme may not always call for him to be a playmaker against the run, a dominant zero-technique who can not only hold the point of attack but also create plays is a rare commodity. Chris has that potential. After suffering an injury in Week 4 last season, his senior year presents a prime opportunity to put it all together and solidify himself as one of the most dominant interior forces in New Jersey.

from Delbarton. Much to my surprise, I have not seen much traction recruiting wise for the impressive interior lineman. More so than any other prospect in his class at his position, Dadas plays with incredible pad level. This pad level is maintained through is get off and throughout the play. Furthermore, we see him excel at fighting off linemen in front of him, shedding blocks, to make plays in his gap – as well as scraping down the line. His size, strength, and pad level makes him a tough assignment when adjacent offensive linemen gallop or double team him. When facing doubles, he actually applies an old-school technique by spiking a knee. A great run stopper, Dadas also has a motor that allows him to chase sideline-to-sideline. Should he get washed when pass rushing, we see Dadas has the wherewithal to spin back to his rush lane to prevent quarterbacks from stepping up.

is another prospect that shot up the rankings during our last update. Unlike most linemen I watch at the high school level, Dadas is unique in the fact that he has a very low stance and a get off that maintains superior pad level. This is supplemented with his strength, where we see him fight off linemen in front of him to play either his gap or the adjacent gap. A stout-yet-skilled player, Dadas is hard to reach and also hard for offensive linemen to gallop. He scrapes down the line of scrimmage very well and avoids running upfield, making many plays at the line. Something I wish I was able to coach better, Dadas will sometimes opt to spike his knee when doubling. With a good base and strong upper body, he is difficult to move and plays like he owns the line of scrimmage.

Chris Dadas, a sophomore nose tackle from Delbarton, is making waves as one of the most promising but relatively unknown players at his position. Standing at an impressive 6’3” and tipping the scales at 300 pounds, Dadas brings a formidable presence to the field. What sets him apart is his commitment to playing his position with excellence, a rare trait in today’s game that favors lighter defensive fronts. Dadas excels at blocking neutralization, adeptly handling double teams and clearing paths for his teammates to shine. His mastery of the trenches not only frees up his fellow defenders but also showcases his ability to use his hands and leverage effectively against opposing linemen. Despite his imposing size, Dadas surprises with solid agility and athleticism, making him a force to be reckoned with in disrupting plays and pressuring quarterbacks. While his change of direction may not be his strongest suit, his sheer mass and physical prowess make life easier for linebackers and safeties behind him. As Dadas continues to assert his dominance on the field, it’s only a matter of time before college programs take notice and extend their offers to secure his talents.

has a lot to look forward to in the future. With a very athletic build, Chris lined up as a tackle in 2022. Great size and athleticism, Chris had a very strong presence on the O-line and used his long arms to push defenders around at will. He will go until the whistle is blown, driving players back for yards. Chris is another player I am really looking forward to watching in person. He is a guy that should be turning some heads in the very near future.

is looking to raise the standard of line play in Morristown.
Something that is not particularly emphasized at the high school level is the ability for d-linemen to make a “U-turn” on the heels of the o-linemen when they are slanted the wrong way. Dadas does an excellent job of this. Dadas also possesses a sufficient base, which allows him to move bodies when drive blocking (he also gets hands on d-linemen to control them). Scheme-based technique will clean up as he gets exposed to more coaching and more reps, for in once instance he out blocked the d-end when he was backside on a play.
Dadas has varsity-ready size to play anywhere in the trenches. With a few years of solid coaching and more reps, we can only speculate where Dadas will end up playing college football.
