. Coming into Saturday’s championship game, Bradley was mainly known for his defense as one of the top leaders in interceptions across the state. But going against a Carl Albert team that ran the ball 37 times compared to just 10 passes, there weren’t many opportunities for Bradley to make plays on the defensive side of the ball. But on offense, Bradley was the one of the more consistent playmakers, along with Baugh and Lesnau. Bradley finished with five catches on the afternoon for 50 yards. Bradley wasn’t able to have as much of an impact as we’ve seen from him earlier this season but he was able to make quite a few plays on offense. Bradley is definitely a 2023 prospect who is on the rise in a big way.

We’ve written about Bradley earlier this year and how his career has certainly been a roller coaster featuring several different schools. But Bradley has found his home in the McAlester secondary and has been one of the breakout stars in Class 5A football this season. While we don’t have complete stats from every team, it’s hard to find another player in Class 5A that has more interceptions than Bradley. He leads the team with eight interceptions on the year and then he turns around and is McAlester’s leading wide receiver in all receptions, yards and touchdowns on the season. Bradley is one of the more important players in this match-up for either team because of his abilities on both sides of the ball. His impact on offense is great and then what he’s able to do as a ball hawk on defense can’t be overlooked.

, who is McAlester’s leading wide receiver and is one of the state’s best ball hawks on defense. While his playmaking ability on offense is going to be incredibly important on Saturday, you can make the argument that his defense is what will help McAlester the most if they’re going to return to Edmond. McGuinness’ passing game was outstanding against Coweta and if Bradley can continue his magical season in terms of turning opponents over with key interceptions, that will go a long way to pulling off the win. But Bradley will also have to become a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball as well.

was impressive throughout the game tonight. On the opening kickoff, he returned in for a touchdown. The touchdown did not count, because of a penalty that he teammate drew. He made an impact quite a bit in the short passing game, but his biggest impact came on the defensive side of the ball. As the other team drove down the field, his team found themselves clinging to a 20-14 lead. On 3rd and Goal from about the five yard line, Collinsville tried to run a trick play. Bradley was not having any of it, as he intercepted the ball and returned it 98 yards for a pick-six to seal the game. He followed that up by coming up with another interception with about four seconds left. There was a different play earlier in the game that he came up with a big swat. He played great coverage all game. His impacted was massive in this game, as his team pulled off the win on the road over Collinsville, who was 9-1 going into the season.

has had quite the high school career but he has fit in perfectly with the Buffaloes this season. After spending his sophomore season at Yukon, he was at Mustang last year, then moved to McAlester for his senior season. There was a moment where we thought he was going back to Mustang but he’s been an impact player for the McAlester defense this fall. Playing alongside OU commit

in the secondary, that has definitely opened things for Bradley to make quite a few plays this season. He’s one of the 5A leaders in interceptions this season and has had a very productive season so far.

has emerged as one of the best ball hawks in the state this season. Bradley leads the team with four interceptions through the first four games. The rest of the team as a whole has only one interception. And as if that wasn’t enough, Bradley has also become an added playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. he’s McAlester’s second leading wide receiver. Bradley has moved around a bit over the last few years. He was at Yukon as a sophomore, Mustang last year before settling with McAlester this season. He’s given the Buffaloes an impact player on the defensive side of the ball. And that’s a defense that has put back to back shutouts together. Over the next two weeks, the Buffaloes will lean on Bradley to slow down Del City and Coweta’s athletic quarterbacks.
