Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Hanosh measures in at 5’9 175-pounds and has game breaking speed. This past season he had 165 carries for 1435 yards with 13 touchdowns, and 19 receptions for 233 yards and 1 touchdown. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and good balance. Very good vision with an explosive start. Very good inside and outside running. He hits the perimeter and is gone. Hanosh has very good juke moves and dynamic jump cuts to make defenders miss out in space. He has good catching and good ball tracking out of the backfield. Once the ball in is his hands, he shows off his home run speed to blaze past the defense. Another great young player who can impact the D2 level.

Hanosh dominated the game from start to finish, emerging as the clear offensive MVP while also influencing the overall flow of the matchup. He rushed for 219 yards on 32 carries and delivered a highlight moment with a 63 yard touchdown run that sparked Valor Christian’s offense. Hanosh ran with urgency, vision and toughness, consistently making the first defender miss and generating chunk plays that kept the Legend defense off balance. His ability to control the tempo played a major role in the team’s victory. As Valor enters a high stakes showdown against Cherry Creek, Hanosh’s production will be essential in keeping the offense on schedule and creating opportunities for his defense to stay fresh. He continues to make a strong case as one of the most reliable workhorse backs in 5A.

Hanosh has been one of the quiet forces behind Valor Christian’s offensive success this year. With 984 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, he’s showcased the kind of consistency and explosiveness that make him difficult to contain. Hanosh runs with a smooth combination of power and agility, often breaking off big gains once he finds a crease. As Valor faces off against Erie, expect him to be a focal point in the game plan. His ability to hit the second level quickly and wear down defenses gives Valor a steady advantage in time of possession. Hanosh may not be the flashiest name, but he’s built for playoff football and could have a breakout performance.

Hanosh is nearly impossible to catch once he reaches the open field, and his 97-yard touchdown run last season is proof of just how dangerous he can be. He finished the year with over 1,000 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, consistently finding ways to gash defenses with his breakaway ability. What separates Hanosh is his ability to hit the hole the instant it opens, accelerating through the line of scrimmage and making defenders miss with ease. His explosiveness makes him a threat to score from anywhere on the field, and as he continues to refine his game, he will be a player that gains traction on the recruiting circuit. With his speed and playmaking ability, Hanosh is poised for a standout season that could propel him onto the radar of scouts and programs looking for a game-changing back.

Hanosh is a powerful runner for Valor Christian who excels at getting north and south quickly. His vision allows him to identify gaps in the defense, and he has the ability to get skinny through tight holes, picking up consistent chunk yardage. Hanosh can also stretch plays outside, using his vision to find cutback lanes and exploit defensive weaknesses. At his size, he’s a bruiser who isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder to gain extra yards after contact, making him a reliable option in short-yardage situations. His ability to find the edge and turn the corner on outside runs makes him versatile, while his north-south running style keeps the chains moving. Hanosh’s balance of physicality and vision makes him a standout player.

Hanosh was the leading rusher of the game, he accounted for 20 carries for 86 yards. Hanosh was consistently getting the tough yards for Valor. First thing that stood out to me, was his tenacity. He hits the hole hard, and has an angry run style about him. He has very good acceleration, change of direction, and good speed. He would use dynamic cuts at the line of scrimmage to create space between himself and the defender. Used his good mental processing to ID which holes to run through, or cut to a different one. He’s a mixture of an elusive and power back, giving the best of both to his team. Looking forward to seeing Hanosh grow more in the Valor offense.

With his abilities he will be a game changer that can be a change of pace back that rips off big gains. He has a knack for finding open space and turning on the jets to outrun defenders. If he is able to establish himself early he will be able to carve out a bigger role this season.
