Garey is a top tier corner in the 2028 class. He measures in at 5’10 170-pounds accounting for 50 total tackles (34 solo, 16 assisted), 5.5 TFL, 3 INT (1 returned for a TD), 3 PD, and 1 FF. Garey has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good change of direction, speed, and jumping. Very good read and reaction ability. He’s an instinctive player. Smooth and controlled back pedal with a shifty torso to match receivers. Very good at jamming the WR at the LOS. Keeps receiver on the line as long as possible. Very good zone coverage and man coverage. Garey gives the receiver little to no separation. He uses his very good timing and closing quickness to create pass deflections. Garey is also a stout tackler. His aggression and physicality show as he rips the ballcarrier to the ground with ease. Garey is a must know product for colleges to look at. I believe he’s a P4 prospect.

Garey is one of my favorite 2028 corners in Colorado. Measuring in at 5’10 170-pounds, he had 50 total tackles (34 solo, 16 assisted), 5.5 TFL, 3 INT, 1 pick 6, 3 PD, and 1 FF. He has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good change of direction, speed, and jumping. Very good read and reaction speed paired with quick twitch ability. Garey does a great job jamming the WR at the LOS and re-routing through the route. He has a smooth and controlled back pedal paired with a fluid torso to match the receiver breaking into their route. Very good man and zone coverage. He sticks like glue, not giving them separation to work with. Very good closing quickness. Does a great job creating pass deflections and timing his pass breakups. Very good tackler and shows his aggressive nature in the run game. It’s a matter of time until he starts getting P4 offers.

Garey was a back that stood out during drill work and was able to be smooth throughout. He was technically sound being able to show a good burst of speed and keeping the ball high and tight. He was able to explode out of his cuts, playing with a lot of speed.
