Edwards has taken major strides this offseason, refining his craft with the help of @sixzeroacademy. A force at offensive tackle, Edwards consistently sets the tone in the running game, getting hands on early and finishing blocks with authority. He’s agile for his size, having a quick kick slide to stay in front of faster defenders and protect the edge in pass protection. With his frame, athleticism, and technical improvement, he has the tools to thrive at the next level. Currently holding an offer from Emporia State, Edwards is poised for a dominant season that could elevate his recruitment into the Division 1 realm.

Measures in at 6’4 290 pounds, Edwards played between RG and RT last season. I believe he is better suited for a guard. Very good initial quickness out of his stance. Explosive leg drive. Edwards has very good strength and overpowers his opponent. He uses his body and falls over on them as well. Very good competitive toughness, playing through the whistle. Very good hand placement, and hand strength to control and steer the defender. Very good hand speed to get in position and/or readjust. Very good anchor, flexibility, good knee bend to get a low pad level. He also has foot quickness and balance. He’s been attracting more offers, and with another strong season under his belt he will have more!

Edwards is an active and versatile player that can move from tackle to guard. He is constantly looking for work, climbing to the second level and creating cut back lanes for backs. He has great hands being able to get hands on quickly and using his power to drive his defender back. When he is lined up at guard he is a great combo blocker that can clear the gap and climb to the second level to pick up another block. He is a must know player that will pop onto a lot of scouts radar and he will have a chance to climb the ranks with a strong offseason.
