Pinson showed why he’s a strong No. 2 in Archbishop Spalding’s 1-2 punch in the backfield. Pinson scored two touchdowns against MSJ and had numerous ones where he broke tackles and finished with authority. I was impressed with a couple of runs where he made the first man miss near the line of scrimmage. Just like Ledbetter, he’s a north-south runner who can get those tough yards and the occasional 15-plus yard gain.
