About Caleb

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a combination of size, strength, agility, wingspan, ball skills and hands that, combined, make me an offensive asset in the open field and over the middle. Defensively, I have a quick release off the ball and the ability to hand fight blockers to create space and use my athleticism to set the edge and pressure the quarterback.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am an outgoing personality that is very coachable & willing to do whatever it takes to improve my game & help my team succeed. I am a passionate person who is driven by success & the ability to overcome adversity. I love to compete in both an individual & team setting and believe myself to be the ultimate teammate as I enjoy celebrating the success of others & my team over those of my own.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on the honor roll in high school and received the Gabriel Richard Academic Excellence award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe myself to be a strong leader in the way of setting a positive example for my teammates, working hard in leading from the front, being positive & encouraging to my teammates & coaches, & putting the needs of others above my own. I was selected as a Captain of my Freshman Football Team at Detroit Catholic Central High School.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced the challenge of moving across the country from Arizona to Michigan when I was in fifth grade. I faced several challenges on a personal, education & athletic level in establishing myself in where others had known each other for many years & I was a new face. I also face the challenge of being one of the youngest students in my grade as I started school early and will graduate at age 17.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am interested in schools of all sizes and do not want to limit myself geographically. I know there are schools out there that are the perfect fit for me and I look forward to learning more about them as I continue my high school playing career.
