Bryon was one the top three defensive linemen to get active at the PRZ Next UP Middle School Showcase. He is powerful, strong at the point of attack, he has broad shoulders and good arm length that he used to his advantage to stun blockers in the one on one drills. He is explosive off of the ball, he used his quickness to win multiple reps and he was more than a handful for anyone who stepped up to do battle. Already standing at 6’1 220 pounds, Bryon has the strength to impose his will on whoever lines up in front of him. Thompson Jr. had the attention of the coaching staff from the first snap and he also excelled in the testing portion, showing off good speed and agility. Byron has the make up a disruptive force in the trenches who is going to be on a high school field on Friday nights giving offenses fits for the next few years.
