Riehl is still dominating. Against Doherty, he went 25/40 for 354 yards, 4 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 7 carries for 55 yards on the ground. Riehl has very good throw power, and can make all the throws asked of him. Throughout the game, his very good mental processing was on display. Riehl would go through his progressions finding the open man. If no one was open, he’d check it down to his receiver, throw it out of bounds, or run for a first. He thrives under pressure. With defenders in his face, he stays unphased and launches it. Riehl has very good accuracy and ball placement. He adds a touch to his throws. His deep ball stands out the most to me. Very good accuracy on the run, especially rolling out left. For example, he spun out of a sack, kept running, and launched it 30 yards downfield to the open man in the endzone. Riehl has good athletic ability due to good speed and acceleration to gain yards on the ground. Riehl is one of the top quarterbacks in the state, and colleges NEED to look at him. He’ll be a contributor at any college level.

Riehl had his best game of the season against Palmer Ridge. The 6’1 160-pound senior threw for 28/34 for 319 yards with 4 passing touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and an 82.4% completion rate. On the ground, he rushed 11 times for 133 yards and 1 touchdown. Bryce has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, balance, good speed, and good acceleration. Riehl has good accuracy at all 3 levels, excelling at medium. Very good ball placement skills. On the money or in stride. Riehl stays poised under pressure. He will go through his progressions, and if no one is open, he’ll burn the defense with his feet. This game showed his ability to evade sacks. He uses his strong legs and very good balance to stay up. He shed a sack, rolled out right and burned the defense for a big gain. Another instance where he spun out of being sacked, and turned it into a 10-yard rush. Riehl deserves more eyes on him, as he’s thrown for 1105 yards, 14 tds, 2 int, and a 73.5% completion rate through 5 games. Give him a look!!

Riehl is a stock riser that continues to build on his passing accuracy. He is able to fit the ball into tight windows and excels at intermediate to deep passes. He does have the ability to make things happen with his legs on designed runs being able to use his speed and misdirection to pick up chunk yardage. He has been under the radar but will look to make a splash this season.
