Dooley balled out with Riehl throwing him the ball. The junior had 4 receptions for 96 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dooley has very good athletic ability due elite acceleration, change of direction, and very good speed and jumping. When he has the ball, he is electric. Makes defenders miss using dynamic cuts. Looks like he is gliding across the field. Dooley has very good release against both off coverage and the press jam. He uses his elite acceleration and quick feet to get the jump on the defensive back. He creates separation using his athletic ability, blazing past the DB. He has very good catching too. He’ll pluck the ball out of the air, and jumps up for the contested catch. One aspect that stood out to me, is how he will keep going back to his QB during the scramble drill. After the catch, he uses his home run speed and very good change of direction to run past the defense and make them miss. He’s a baller, with a ton of potential.

Dooley is a speedster that is a big play threat waiting to happen. He is a mismatch on the outside and he is technically sound in his route running being able to create space. He is a threat in the return game as well being able to flip the field and create advantages for his team. I personally think he will be a game changer and teams will have to game plan for him which he will still have big games regardless.

Dooley measures in at 5’9 160 pounds. Throughout the season, he accounted for 31 receptions for 525 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has elite athletic ability due to elite speed, acceleration, change of direction, and very good jumping. This kid can move. Dooley can accelerate, decelerate, back to accelerating on the fly. Rare ability. He’s consistently outrunning all the players on the field, finding his way into the endzone. He’s got a good release, using the 1,2-shake movement to out maneuver the DB. Using his elite athletic ability, he creates separation between himself and the DB. He will also use his good mental processing to get open. Dooley IDs voids and then exploits them. When his QB is scrambling, he will find a way to make himself open. Dooley has very good catching skills. Very impressive with his catch in traffic. He’ll also extend his arms out, catch the ball and tuck it in while going down, making it so the ball won’t bobble on contact. He’ll adjust either above or below and make the catch. His YAC ability is impressive. He uses his homerun speed and elite change of direction to juke out defenders, and out run them all into the endzone. I am very excited to see how Dooley continues to improve his game, and become a top name out of Colorado!
