Norman was already one of our favorite prospects compared to his recruiting interests, but he put up ridiculous testing numbers at the Carolina Coaches’ Combine, running a 4.55-second 40 and jumping nearly 44 inches. That athleticism is hard to ignore, especially when he’s also accurate and calm in the pocket. That was enough to move him a few spots from 48 to 45.

The two-time conference offensive player of the year earned the top slot in this ranking because of his impressive production in leading the Blue Devils to the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Brody has grown physically and is picking up recruiting attention and offers from multiple Division 1 schools. With several talented teammates in tow coming up this season, his senior year is poised to be his best one yet. Brody has improved on his dual-threat ability and has shown the accuracy in critical situations for his team to thrive offensively.

Norman impressed us as a sophomore, but improved his consistency (and grew an inch or two) as a junior. He’s a guy with high-level production whose physical tools are catching up to his natural accuracy and high football I.Q. He’s a modern pocket passer with plenty of escapability. When he gets out of the pocket, his eyes are downfield, but he isn’t afraid to ruck it and pick up tough yards.
