Brendan was looking better than ever at the Minnesconsin Mega Camp. He checked in at a well built 6’3″ 285 lbs, up 10 lbs since last season. I was able to start one of the portions of the day watching his group in run game battles. Brendan did well when it came to being quick out of his stance, keeping his pad level low, getting hands inside, and winning the leverage battle. Grabot had no issues using his power to at least hold the line of scrimmage, if not reset it a couple yards downfield. I was also excited to see how well he was moving laterally while engaged while losing balance, reaching, or losing his man. The ’26 is bigger and stronger than ever, yet still playing with plenty of mobility. He left with an offer from Sioux Falls.

Even with it being varsity highlights, Brendan has so many clips where his dominance in the trenches stands out from the crowd. Over and over he is bursting out of his stance and overwhelming defensive lineman as he literally runs them out of the trenches, into the second level, and beyond. Grabot’s short area agility, quickness, and range to get to level two also jump off the tape as he lands key blocks on LBs. The junior is quick, nimble, strong, and brings the mentality that he is going to try and dominate opponents every rep. Ingredients of an OL who has his best football ahead of him.

. The 6’3″ 275 lbs OL has put in a lot of work and it shows on the field. Brendan has a well rounded game. In the run game you see a burst out of his stance, gets good hand placement and creates movement the moment he makes contact. His strong base creates the push and the strong upper body controls his man. Grabot also has natural mobility that allows him to chip and then attack level two defenders. There is room to continue to grow and develop still at this level. Exciting to see what is to come for the Indian Trail product.

One of the 2026s who caught our eyes during the season and further solidified our positive thoughts on his game with his camp performance is Indian Trail’s Brendan Grabot. The ’26 is now 6’4″ 270 lbs with a 6’6″ wingspan and almost 11″ hands. Size and mass to play at the next level, and where he sets himself apart from the typical big bodied OL is that Brendan is an athlete on the OL. The ’26 OL does a great job of keeping a wide base that is loaded up to absorb bull rushers. While ready to counteract power, Grabot is able to play on nimble feet that can mirror pass rush moves and change direction wit counter moves. Brendan also did a great job of playing with his hands and accurately striking them. Get this kid on your radars early this offseason.

I’m becoming a big fan of the Indian Trail right tackle as we hit the midway point of the regular season. He has an excellent frame to continue to build on and strengthen in the weight room. On tape it is very apparent that he has the range to be an impact at the second level of the defense along with his impact in the trenches. Brendan has solid quickness off the line to close the gap on LBs and lock his hands onto them before they can try to avoid him. I love that the junior tries to drive his man as far as he can until the whistle blows too. He is always looking to finish his blocks too. It was great to see him in some pass protection also. His lateral agility allows him to easily mirror pass rushers and he has the awareness to pick up twists or other stunts from DL. Grabot is off to a great start this season and is definitely one to keep your eyes on.
