Davis has seen his profile rise steadily following a productive junior campaign at Waxahachie. He recorded over 25 solo tackles, seven pass breakups, one interception, two defensive touchdowns, and more than 100 kick return yards. His impact extended beyond traditional defensive metrics, as he consistently flipped field position and created explosive plays.
Davis’ verified track speed has further strengthened his evaluation. He has posted a 10.56 in the 100 meters, a 20.82 in the 200 meters, and a 47.74 in the 400 meters, in addition to a 21.23 indoor 200-meter time. That level of multi-event speed translates directly to his on-field play.
As a defensive back, Davis demonstrates fluid hip mobility, efficient footwork, and the long speed necessary to remain in phase on vertical routes. He transitions cleanly out of breaks and shows the change-of-direction ability to mirror receivers across the route tree. His open-field burst and vision also make him a dangerous special teams weapon. With expectations that he will receive increased offensive touches this fall, his overall production ceiling continues to rise.
He currently holds offers from East Texas A&M University, Western Illinois University, Northeastern State University, and Wofford College, with additional interest expected as evaluations continue.
