On film, he does a good job getting upfield quickly and attacking the outside shoulder of blockers to set the tone early in the rep. His effort really stands out — he continues chasing plays down and looks to make impact plays even when the initial rush doesn’t win. Marsh Jr. is one of the most intriguing young edge defenders in Texas. At 6-foot-5, he has the length and athleticism college coaches covet. Marsh’s explosive first step consistently puts offensive tackles on their heels, and his natural bend allows him to dip around the corner despite his height. He uses his long arms to extend, lock out, and disengage from blockers, making him equally effective against the run. Marsh plays with good balance and never appears out of control, which is rare for a prospect with his frame. Already holding offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Missouri, Baylor, and several others, Marsh has established himself as a national-level recruit.
