In a loaded roster with big-time names and seniors finishing their legacies, Taylen might not have been your prediction to take over on Friday. In a Round One 48-16 win over Midway, the budding sophomore totaled 175 rushing yards and 2 TDs. He carried the ball with physicality, showcasing great contact balance and little wasted movement. Strange consistently pops off tacklers while maintaining his footwork and keeping his focus downfield. Despite being young in his career, the Indians’ tailback looked like a seasoned vet, hitting running lanes and stiff-arming defenders into the turf. With offers from SMU, UNLV, and Lamar, watch out for Strange to continue turning into a star down the playoff stretch.

Taylor Strange is an explosive compact back with huge potential. Was a standout in the Lonestar state of Texas, and now will claim his rightful place in Georgia this season. He was names to our 1st Team All-Camp list last year in Dallas and is recognized as an All-American by several. Taylen has great feet and knows how to stay square to utilize his vision at an optimal level. His cuts are controlled and he using his low center of gravity to his advantage on contact. A couple of SEC schools have already had him on campus unofficially. It won’t be long until he is on official visits of his choice.
