might be the first linebacker that we covered after his freshman season. Fisher first caught our eye while playing 7v7 and was a standout at linebacker and on offense as a tight end. While he never really took off on offense while at Union, Fisher still became one of the more productive linebackers in the state’s 2023 class. Fisher eventually became a D1 prospect and would sign on the dotted line with Central Missouri. Fisher is a very athletic and rangy linebacker.

. It appeared obvious to us early on in Fisher’s career that he was destined to be one of the better linebackers in this class just based on the athleticism he plays with. Fast forward to this season and he’s part of a Union team that is headed into the playoffs with an undefeated record. Union’s defense has playmakers everywhere and Fisher has to be included as one of them. It seems like every week or every other week Fisher is coming up with a turnover or two after making a big play.

With the exception of one drive that was sparked by a fake punt, the Union defense was dominant in the first half. Union had several standouts on the defensive side of the ball but standing out early was senior linebacker

. It seemed like Fisher was living in the Mustang backfield in the first half as he came away with several sacks, including a big sack on third down. In fact, Fisher seemed to make his biggest plays on third down. When Mustang was trying to throw the ball away, Fisher tip-toed the Union sideline and came down with an interception, which set up Union’s first touchdown on the very next play.
