The 6’2″/200 LB out of Arbor View showed promising flashes of range and physicality as a junior and will be a player to watch for continued development in the fall. Gardner has the potential to take over an Arbor View defense that graduated one of the top LBs in the country from a season ago and put his name on the all-state radar with a productive 2025 campaign.

Gardner- the #2-LB in PRZ NV’s 2026 rankings- is one of the top unoffered defenders in Nevada. He’s a high-upside LB that possesses all the athleticism and physical tools to put together a breakout senior season in the fall and put his name on the D-I radar. Highly physical and rangy tackler from his ILB spot that can make plays in space on the perimeter and is a savvy navigator through traffic defending the run. He’s a bit of a head hunter at this stage and could use some work on being more of a controlled, form-tackler. Look for Gardner to establish himself as a leader for Arbor View’s defensive unit in the fall.

Gardner’s a sleeper at the LB position that looks to be on the verge of a breakout junior season for Arbor View in the fall. He’s a physical athlete at 6’2”/205 that’s shown explosive downhill speed and power in recent spring practices. He moves with light, quick feet between the OTs, possesses a quick trigger to the football, and shows promising range from the ILB spot. He swarms to the football with an energized motor and delivers strong contact out in space. Look for Gardner to climb Nevada’s LB ranks in the coming months.
