Cole was a riser in the latest rankings update with the raw athleticism and physical skillset he showed in the Arbor View secondary this season. He’s a high-upside defensive back that offers physicality, closing speed, and length/reach from his safety spot. He showed versatility playing a variety of alignments, is playmaker in coverage, and looks to deliver punishment in space. Cole’s physical tools should attract interest from the D-II level at a mininum.

Cole ranked as a top-100 prospect ahead of his senior season and will be rising the 2026 rankings in the next update as a breakout playmaker in the Arbor View secondary. The 6’/180 SS has proven to be a dynamic defender that can tackle and cover in space at a high level. He’s a fast, twitched-up athlete that flies to the football, chews up ground quickly, and plays a physical brand of football. He constantly finds himself around the ball with his instincts/anticipation, closing speed, and quick reactions. Cole is one of Vegas’ biggest in-season risers on the defensive side of the ball and should see plenty of offers come in after the season.
