Pond measures in at 6’1 215-pounds playing TE/LB for Fountain-Fort Carson. He had 12 receptions for 183 yards for 3 touchdowns, 40 total tackles (23 solo, 17 assisted), 2 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 PD. Pond has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, good speed, jumping, and acceleration. Pond has good read and reaction speed. Good sideline to sideline range. Does a great job blitzing. Very good get off and block shedding speed. Pond has good strength and tackling. As a TE, he maintains a good release with good separation quickness. Pond excels as a blocker as well. I’m excited to see how he does next season!
