Prospect Spotlight: 2027 Under the Radar Playmakers

Gebhardt measures in at 5'11 175-pounds playing QB/CB for Loveland. He went 89/150 for 1354 yards, 59.3% completion rate, 10 TDs, 5 INT, 122 carries for 900 yards with 9 touchdowns, 19 total tackles (7 solo, 12 assisted), and 3 PD. Gebhardt has good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, good speed, and change of direction. Good throw power paired with a quick release. Very good pocket presence. Gebhardt stays poised under pressure and continues to go through his reads. Once the pocket collapses, he'll use his very good scramble ability to run for a first down. It takes multiple defenders to take him down. As a DB, he has very good read and reaction skills. Smooth back pedal and very good man coverage. He thrives as a QB, and I'm excited to see more from him next season.     Elmore transitioned to QB after playing RB last season. Measures in at 6'1 195-pounds. He went 30/52 for 653 yards, 57.7% completion rate, 10 TDs, 2 INT, 37 carries for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns. Elmore has good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, good change of direction, and speed. Elmore has good throw power and very good release. Fluid throwing motion. Elmore has very good ball placement skills. He'll throw it in stride with the receiver. Good progression speed. Good pocket presence. If no one's open, he'll use his scramble ability to gash the defense for big gains. Very good strength to run over defenders with good trucking. He did a great job in his first year starting, and I'm excited to see how he develops this off-season.     Pridemore earned himself All-State first team this previous season and will look for a repeat. Measures in at 6'1 230-pounds. He had 95 carries for 687 yards with 6 touchdowns, 6 receptions for 34 yards with 2 touchdowns, 96 total tackles (42 solo, 52 assisted), 11 TFL, 2 sack, 1 INT, and 1 FR. Pridemore has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good balance, and change of direction. Good vision at the line of scrimmage with an explosive quick start to burst through the open hole. Very good inside running and good outside running. As a linebacker, he uses his good read and reaction speed to consistently make plays. Very good range. Pridemore will run across the field to make the tackle or assist his teammate. Good get off speed and block shedding. Very good tackling. He's an exciting two-way player that should turn some heads at off-season camps.     Pennock measures in at 6'1 170-pounds. The corner had 30 total tackles (20 solo, 6 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 INT, and 1 PD. Pennock has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, good acceleration, and jumping. Good read and reaction speed. Smooth and controlled back pedal with fluid hips to match WR breaking into the route. Does a good job pressing the WR at the line of scrimmage and re-routing. Pennock has very good man and zone coverage skills. Very good closing quickness with good timing to create pass breakups. Good tackling as well. Look for Pennock to continue boosting his stock this off-season!     Pond measures in at 6'1 215-pounds playing TE/LB for Fountain-Fort Carson. He had 12 receptions for 183 yards for 3 touchdowns, 40 total tackles (23 solo, 17 assisted), 2 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 PD. Pond has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, good speed, jumping, and acceleration. Pond has good read and reaction speed. Good sideline to sideline range. Does a great job blitzing. Very good get off and block shedding speed. Pond has good strength and tackling. As a TE, he maintains a good release with good separation quickness. Pond excels as a blocker as well. I'm excited to see how he does next season!
