Releford is still the 40-yard dash leader amongst all PRZ combine event at 4.36 seconds. Measures in at 5’8 170-pounds. This past season, he had 207 carries for 1601 yards with 20 touchdowns, 9 receptions for 172 yards with 2 touchdowns. Releford has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, speed, very good change of direction, balance, and good jumping. Ability for a big gain each play. Very good vision. Very good inside running. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the open hole for big gains. Explosive jump cuts to pivot into open gaps. Very good vision. Weaves through the defense effortlessly. Very good outside running. He turns the perimeter and uses his home run speed to get the touchdown. Releford also bounces off defenders to get extra yards. A weapon out of the backfield as well. I love this kid’s film. He’s started to get traction on the college circuit, mainly from the Ivy leagues speaking to his smarts.

Releford is one the top Stock Up performers in the nation! Leads all players in the 40 yard dash nationally. At the Colorado combine, he was ranked top 10 in every category. 1 in 40, 3 in broad jump, 4 in L-drill, and 8 in pro shuttle. He has elite athletic ability, and that was on full display. In the individual drills, he showed off his very quick feet and dominated. He’s an elite runner but really showed out in the catching portion as a receiver. Releford has very good separation quickness, body control and adjustment. He contorted his body to make a contested sideline catch and came down with it. Great job by the RB MVP!

Releford impressed with his fluid movement skills and top tier footwork. He displayed smooth hips, excellent balance and the ability to change direction without losing speed. His jump cuts were crisp and he keeps his head still allowing him to be deceptive through his routes and cuts. As a receiver, Releford ran crisp routes, created separation at the top of his routes and was able to haul in difficult catches in one on ones. During drill work, he also showed value in pass protection, consistently holding blocks during simulated blitz scenarios. His versatility and well rounded skill set position him as a running back whose stock is trending upward and scouts should be keeping a close eye on him.

Few players have been able to standout like Releford. The Fountain-Fort Carson standout has put together a dominant season, rushing for 1,544 yards and 20 touchdowns while powering one of Colorado’s most balanced offenses. Releford is able to attack on every carry showing intensity and purpose. Despite being undersized, he plays with tremendous strength and vision, consistently breaking tackles and extending plays. Facing nationally ranked Cherry Creek, he’ll need to bring his best performance yet. Releford’s determination and quick cuts through tight lanes give him the ability to spark momentum at any time. His effort and production make him one of the key players you will need to watch for in this game.

WOW! The word that left my mouth every few seconds while watch DK’s film.  DaKari Releford DaKari Releford 5'9" | 174 lbs | RB Fountainfort Carson | 2027 State CO Jr has tremendous burst and feet.  At 5’8 170, DK is extremely strong for his stature being a part of the 1,000 LB club (Bench + Squat + Deadlift) which isn’t an easy feat in its own right but he also is doing this at 170 pounds!  For the math fans out there, that’s almost 6x his bodyweight.  This shows up on film especially in the open field where it’s difficult for defenders to bring him down showcasing a strong stiff arm and tremendous contact balance.  My favorite trait of DK’s is his patience behind the LOS and ability to allow muddy situations to clear and burst through a crease to the 2nd level and beyond.  Well coached RBs know “Slow to, Fast Through” and DK has implemented that into his game. I’ll let the tape speak for itself, but let me tell you it screams “EXPLOSIVENESS.”  With 10.7 100m track speed, DK is one of the top (and most exciting) underclassmen in the state of Colorado.

Releford Jr has been continuing his breakout season. The star running back had 7 carries for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, speed, very good change of direction, balance, and good jumping. This man has home run speed and is legitimate threat to score on each possession. Very explosive quick start. He uses his elusiveness to weave through the defense. He makes defenders miss with his juke moves, and continues to churn forward for those tough runs. It looks like he’s gliding through the field. Very good vision. Releford Jr. has very good outside running and inside running. He is one of my personal breakout players this season, and I’m very excited to see how he’s doing. Watch out for DaKari.

Releford is a very speedy running back. The 5’8 170-pound speedster had 99 carries for 576 yards with 8 touchdowns. Releford Jr. has elite acceleration, speed, very good change of direction, and good jumping. He is a weaver, using his change of direction to juke out defenders and run around them. Da’Kari beats them with his speed. Very good vision and uses that to thrash the defense. When he is out in space, he uses his home run speed to blaze past the defense. I can’t wait to see what he has in store !

One of only two running backs at the camp, Releford made a statement with his speed and football IQ. His route-running ability and quick cuts allowed him to create mismatches against backers, while his hands ensured he caught even the toughest passes. Once in the open field, Releford’s speed made him nearly impossible to catch. His ability to maintain balance and his explosiveness after the catch set him apart. A rising star with a bright future, Releford is a must-know player who will continue to impress as he progresses.
