About Brayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

In a nutshell, fast but physical and with intention. It's easy to say "I'm going to go do my best and that's all I can do". I've elevated my game by setting specific goals and intentions not just in games, but every time I'm on the field and with my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality that combines discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic. Some of my key personal qualities that I feel have helped me both on and off the field are my adaptability and team approach. This past season, over 20 players transferred and nearly our entire coaching staff quit yet I chose to stay and help rebuild our team and bring unity among the chaos.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer coach and mentor youth football players with my youth coach. He made a big impact on me and the person I’ve become, I want to help other young men as Coach O helped me

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership- through this rebuild season both players and their parents have been upset, angry, frustrated. We went from a state championship team to barely making the playoffs. I helped bring unity to my team, lift them up when they would feel defeated and remind them why we are on this field. Teamwork- I've worked to bring conflict resolution and a positive environment through the major changes

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I'm 6'2" but the DE playing opposite of me is a 6'4" KU commit. I've always felt that despite my leadership efforts and dedication; my size is compared to his especially in prior seasons when we were one of the most successful football programs in AZ. Being raised by a single mother, she provides the best life but it is hard because I know she stresses at times though she never lets it show.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can be come a well rounded, successful, educated member of society. Football is life however, I have always prioritized finding balance between my education and my passion for football. I'd prefer to play at my grandfathers Alma Mater- Penn State, Kansas, Texas or near my mom and stay home in AZ.
