I didn’t catch the very start of the event, so I didn’t get to see as much of Saguaro; but by the time I made my way to that field,

was the first guy who stood out — and not just a little. He’s long. Like, really long. His height definitely helps, but it’s the length in his arms and his overall build that make him one of those players who just pops when he’s out there. Even before he made a play, I was already curious to see what he could do. And then he started making plays. Every ball in his direction seemed to stick. His hands were rock solid — no bobbles, no body catches, just clean grabs. On top of that, he showed really nice straight-line speed. When he turned it on, defenders had a tough time staying with him, especially when the ball went up. He’s a natural jump-ball threat, and that’s only going to be more of a weapon as he gets stronger and more confident. What was cool to see was that he looked comfortable on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he held his own and made life tough for receivers. But there’s a lot to be excited about on the offensive side once he tightens up his route running. You can see it — the flashes are already there. With his frame, hands, and raw athleticism, he’s got serious upside.

Although he had a quiet year playing in 7 games last season, I think Wiseman is going to be a kid to really put himself on the map this spring/summer and into the season. Excellent frame and build at 6’3″ 195lbs with great length and a large catch radius. Given the other big name standouts with Jones and Armstrong, I think Wiseman is going to see his opportunities sky rocket. Solid speed once he hits that 2nd gear and I can see him molding into a legit vertical threat. He’s a solid FS as well giving him an upside with his position versatility moving forward.

Outstanding physical skillset and athleticism. 6’3” almost 200 lbs. he’s got a very recruitable frame and the natural playmaking ability to match. Possesses downfield/long speed to stretch the defense and be a vertical threat with the leaping ability to go up and compete for the ball at the high point. Gets clean releases off the line using his hands and lateral quickness to avoid contact and then stack defenders. Fluid with his movement he shows he can drop his hip level to smoothly get in and out of his breaks. Speed and size make him a tough tackle after the catch. He’s got an accelerated burst and good instincts to know where defenders are and get to space. Picked up his first offer from Bowling Green and is a high ceiling prospect with tons of raw potential/ability.
