We have been barking up the chain for a while on Harrisburg defensive back Bradley Esser Bradley Esser 6'2" | 220 lbs | DB/LB Harrisburg | 2026 State SD as he moved up three spots to #4 overall in South Dakota. I’ve said it a bunch of times, the value of moving up spots in the top 10 is high and as I knew Bradley would for sure be the first DB to be offered by the FCS powerhouse Jackrabbits. Bradley has shown the bulk of his reps at middle linebacker, however his long strides close out quickly downhill as a linebacker that easily can get sideline to sideline. Plus, the amount of knockback tackles Bradley shows on tape has really showed off an upcharger of physicality as a run stopper this season that use high IQ position angles. No doubt Bradley isn’t just the best defensive back in South Dakota, I believe he is the best in all of the Dakotas in the 2026 class as I expect the Division I steam to pick up in the coming months.
