He’s become a sparkplug for the high-flying and explosive Red Mountain offense. Not the biggest receiver, he does a nice job of using his body to get better positioning than the defensive back. With 514 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns this season, Wagner’s ability to create separation and make clutch grabs is a testament to his skills. He consistently showcases his body awareness, making him a serious threat every time he steps on the field.

Talented receiver and a dual sport prospect, one of the top long jumpers in the state with a PR of 22’10 and runs a 10.9 100m. His track speed translates well to the football field making him a great vertical threat but also has the initial quickness and change of direction to create separation at the short and intermediate levels. A savvy route runner at 6’1” 170 lbs. he attacks DB’s leverage with good use of stems and a hard drive phase off the ball. Possesses high level ball skills, leaping ability allows him to out compete defenders at the high point and flashes excellent body control to adjust to ball flight. Makes a ton of difficult catches diving and extending outside his framework to snatch the ball out of the air. Speed and strength make him a threat to gain big yardage or score after the catch. Led Red Mountain in receiving as a junior with almost 800 yards on 43 catches with 10 TD’s. Recruitment is picking up with three D1 offers coming in this offseason.
