Crook is a three-year starter at center and is one of the tops at his position. He has a high football IQ and a nasty streak that allows him to dominate opponents. He has a strong lower half that allows him to anchor but where he shines is how balanced he stays whether in pass protection or run blocking.

Crook is one of the top interior offensive linemen across the state of of Idaho in this 2025 class and is a true road grader that wins with leverage, strong initial punch and a powerful lower half to quickly move defenders off the ball. Crook is a high IQ kid that can read defenses quickly, adjusts well in pass protection and plays with a strong base, active feet and patient hands against both speed and power rushers. Crook should be able to find a home at the D3 level in college at the center position, and could be a small school steal as we approach the first and second National Signing Day this Winter.

Crook has had a terrific off-season and showed good position versatility playing both guard and center on the camp circuit. He is an extremely physical blocker with heavy hands a strong inside punch and has a powerful lower body while knowing how to win with leverage and getting underneath blockers before finishing. He has impressed at multiple 5 on 5 stops this Spring, and is an athletic blocker that can pull, get out to linebackers in space and shows good movement abilities and athleticism for his size. He is one of the top offensive line prospects across the state in this Senior class, and should have plenty of next level opportunities come his way in the coming months.

Crook is a true center in all meanings of those words with a compact frame that doenst get moved easliy. He plays with great pad leverage as he is able to really get underneath defenders for movement. He is stout at the point of attack where he can dominant players and create stalemates when needed. He is very quick off the football especially for someone who has to snap before he steps and does an excellent job getting to the second level.

Crook once again showed why he is one of the top returning lineman in the state. With quick feet and strong hands he was near impossible to beat in one on ones during the camp. After playing in such a run heavy offense it was good to see how much of an improved pass blocker he was during the camp. One of the most complete offensive lineman we have seen during the camp cycle this year. He is one of the strongest players on film that we have seen and the sky’s the limit for the junior who is going to be one of the top offensive lineman in the state this season for Meridian.
