Martinez is going to be a hot commodity once the early signing period and transfer portal slows down. He is a flat out play maker with the ball in his hands, has the ability to really throw with great touch and timing on the deep ball. His ability to really extend plays is what makes him extremely dangerous.

Martinez is capping his last season off in spectacular fashion with his ability to make plays with his arm or legs. His ability to do things outside the pocket are extremely rare, he has a great feel for how to make defenders miss and then find receivers down the field. Hes been a special player since his sophomore year and it hasn’t changed.

Martinez is a staple in Idaho High School football where he is going on his third year as a starter for one of the top programs in the state. One of the best-off script passers we have seen, with his ability to make plays outside of the pocket and keep plays alive. He is a stout runner with the ability to pick up tough yards in the run game and his toughness shows up every single game.

The multi-year Meridian starter had a very busy spring and picked up offers from Memphis and Nebraska-Kearney while impressing at multiple stops this summer. He has a quick release and strong lower body mechanics, a high IQ and can move defenders with his eyes while showing good ball placement into tight windows downfield and is very elusive in the pocket with running abilities and the skillset to throw on the run. Martinez solidifies himself as the top quarterback in this class across Idaho and checks in at the top spot and just outside the top ten overall in a very impressive class.

A player with a quick release, excellent timing and touch to go along with his leadership ability. Martinez is going to be a prospect that many are going to want to see throw in person. He has one of the quickest releases in the quarterback class regardless of graduation year. He also throws with great timing and touch on the deep ball. Where teams are going to want to see him is his ability to really move and throw off platform. He can make all the throws and shows great leadership ability. He has a unique ability to avoid the rush and escape bad spots while keeping his eyes down field.
