Klinger is a college caliber linebacker at the D2/D3 level and is going to be a key best available player as the season comes to a close for Meridian. He has a quick trigger, shows he can explode into the backfield with good angles and closing speed while packing a punch at the point of attack and is very active in the run game, scraping over the top and evading blockers without losing ground and is a very efficient tackler inside and outside the tackles. In coverage, he shows good movement, fluid hips and can break to the ball quickly while physical near the LOS and showing he is a diverse prospect that can apply pressure when rushing the passer, play sound from the second level and cover downfield.

Klinger is one of the top tacklers across Idaho and is very active at the second level of the defense and is going to be a big time steal for a college program here late. He triggers quickly, can knife into the backfield and is very physical in the box and plays violent at all times packing a punch at the POA. He shows good athletic abilities in space, can cover downfield and is a high IQ player that can roam around and shock and shed off blocks while not afraid to bang in the box. He had a big Friday night, posting an absurd 18 tackles and 1 sack on the night and should be atop the tackle leaders in Idaho by the time the season comes to a close.
