After earning an offer from Charleston this summer, he’s a high-upside athlete with plenty of room to grow. Projected as a tight end at the next level, Adkins combines length and athleticism, enhanced by his basketball background, to create mismatches for defenses, especially in the run game as a blocker. He’s versatile enough to line up in multiple spots on offense and also contributes as a defensive tackle, giving the Tigers a weapon on both sides of the ball during the postseason.
