After a strong freshman year, Avery Thompson Avery Thompson 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Paducah Tilghman | 2028 State KY continued to improve this season. Thompson finished his sophomore year with 70 receptions for 1,062 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games. Avery is a very skilled route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create easy separation from opposing defensive backs. He has also shown the speed to pose as a threat in the deep passing game. Thompson also came away with two interceptions on defense this season. Avery currently holds multiple Power 4 offers and I expect that list to continue to grow heading into his junior year.
