Starting opposite Mills at right tackle is Avery Huggins Avery Huggins 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Westfield | 2025 State IN , a verified 6-foot-5, 267-pound lineman and Cornell commit. He has a lot to like form a frame perspective. Although raw from a fundamentals and technique perspective, he can get good vertical push as a run blocker and he’s above-average in pass protection. He is a good puller who can move and run, and has thin ankles and good foot speed that will serve him well as a collegiate player.

Huggins is a phenomenal prospect in his own rights and has eyes all over him. If this class wasn’t as loaded as it is, I’d be willing to bet Huggins would have 3-4 times the offers he does. He’s a legit player upfront with good size, footwork, and plenty of reps for a high quality program who compete against the best players in Indiana. I’m a big fan of Huggins and the way he works as well. Always posting clips, going to camps, and trying to get that extra work in. It’ll pay off for Huggins in the long-term, I know that.

Huggins has really begun to blossom and take off. He was someone who stood out this past spring at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and was something I took note of. I made a point to circle back to him to see how his season went, and it’s safe to say he backed up his Spring with his play this fall. He’s been impressive since Week 1 and has only gotten better each week. He’s incredibly lengthy and keeps shooting up. He’s then got nice long legs and can use them for leverage all the time. He can come right off the ball in the running game and clear the edge without much stress. Where he’s really made his strides this fall though is his footwork and staying off his heels. It’s an area you can tell he put a quite a bit of work into this summer and it’s yet to fail him this season. His rise since this spring has been pretty noteworthy and he’s only getting better. I’ve quickly become a big fan of Huggins and where I think he could be in a few years. Huggins is a guy who should start at the collegiate level during his career when he’s ready.
