Weaver brings an intriguing combination of size, athleticism and upside to the linebacker position. With the physical tools to play in space and the toughness to drop down into the box, he fits the mold of today’s hybrid linebacker. He’s spent the offseason sharpening his footwork and coverage ability, and that development could earn him a spot in the rotation this season. Weaver isn’t afraid to lay a big hit on the ball carrier or receivers coming across the middle. As he continues to gain reps and confidence, his natural instincts and versatility could allow him to be a consistent presence at the second level. He’s a name that you will need to keep on the radar for 2028.
