2028 QB Anthony Smith Anthony Smith 6'2" | 215 lbs | DL Frankfort | 2027 WV made headlines when he transferred into West Virginia from Pennsylvania. Smith was considered the #1 QB in the 2028 class by our PA site and bolsters an already deep and talented class here in WV. He got the start against Robert C. Byrd in their first game of the season, and Smith had an efficient night for the Polar Bears as he continues to adjust to a new program. He completed 12/20 passes for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 35-9 win. Smith may have been the missing piece for another long playoff run for Fairmont Senior, a program that churns out top quarterbacks.
