‘s elite MVP performance is and was the fact that he was a relative unknown coming into the event. Excited to show off his new ranking in time. I wanted to take the time to talk about his performance and skill set. A kid with the ideal frame for a high-ceiling EDGE/DL prospect, especially considering his age. Narrow waist, wide shoulders, with a ratio that could grow in years time. Very loose hips, helps him explode off the snap and maintain speed after dealing with initial contact. Flexible ankles. Great stance pre-snap throughout 1v1s. Chest over toes, weight on the balls of his feet, Jackson was often too quick for tackles in attendance to combat. No heel popping, covers ground quickly. A ton of great things to watch in person. I want to learn more about Jackson’s counter ability. It’s great to see him use speed to dominate tackles in a setting like this one, yet I want to see what Jackson is like when his initial plan doesn’t work. Excited to see him work in the Fall.
