A transfer from Lift for Life Academy Charter in St. Louis, DB8 Aireon Bass Aireon Bass 6'3" | 210 lbs | DB East St. Louis | 2027 State IL joins a loaded East St. Louis roster and group of 2027 DBs filled with FBS offers. I believe Bass is related to recent Mizzou commit and East St. Louis 2025 CB Charles Bass Charles Bass 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB East St. Louis | 2025 State IL , although I have yet to confirm that, and he brings great size and length into the Flyers DB room for 2024.

A varsity starter in 2023, Bass is a good tackler, slippery at avoiding blocks, and is rangy in run defense. He displays solid pursuit speed and can cover some ground in run support when he sticks his cleat in the turf and gets downhill. We’ll see how the notch up in competition goes, and Bass still has some growing into his body to do, but the size and physicality are there.
