Expert Analysis

Sharp had a really impressive junior campaign for the Flyers. The 6’3″ 200 pound wide receiver has quickness getting in and out of cuts along with home run speed. Smooth route runner with suddenness. Good hands. Works best out of the slot winning one on one matchups. Very willing blocker that could even grow into a tight end down the road if that is the route a school wants to go.

Our final 2026 Flyer to earn an exciting first offer from an FBS competitor, 6’3, 215 lb. WR/TE Armaad Sharp is a recent transfer from Missouri powerhouse Cardinal Ritter Prep, and although he hasn’t officially suited up for East St. Louis just yet, he’s got people buzzing behind the scenes and brings intriguing size to the table as a pass-catcher. Sharp has college programs buzzing on the recruiting trail as well, as he earned his first overall and first D1 offer almost a week ago in the Kent State Golden Flashes influx of East St. Louis recruiting attention.
Sharp lines up at the wing, flexes out to the slot or aligns as a traditional inline TE, and is a big-time mismatch nightmare and one of the more athletic pass-catching bodies you’ll find at his size and age. The 6’3 TE is a particular asset in the red zone, and his strong hands and a huge wingspan give Sharp a massive catch radius, one that can reel in receptions through contact and tight coverage. He can break off his routes well, is a big, strong, powerful ball carrier after the catch, has a rep showing some serious speed on kickoff coverage, and is an aggressive, motivated blocker with both technique and pop who can overwhelm and dominate DBs in space. An athletic and well-built pass-catching body, Sharp is the type of WR/TE hybrid who can absolutely dominate a prep football defense and take over a game, and that same frame can develop into monstrous proportions at the college level. I’d love to have this dude on my team.
