I’m excited for what Adam has shown in the first half of the season. Watching him grow and develop over the last year had me excited for the potential. Now we are seeing some of it come to fruition. He looks the part of a well balanced, traditional TE. Heberer is an effective blocker inline. The technique, wide base, hands inside, staying square on the defender, has given him the ability to move DEs off the ball and open up lanes. As a receiver, Adam is able to get clean releases from inline or out wide. The long strides give him the deceptive speed as he eats up yards after the catch. His 6’4″ frame gives him a huge catch radius and he will go up and over DBs. Adam’s arrow is pointing upwards, and he still has so much more room to develop his game. He could be a huge steal for a program.

We move to the TE position for my next prediction of camp standouts. Adam Heberer Adam Heberer 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE Sussex Hamilton | 2024 State WI of Sussex Hamilton is sure going to look the part on every field he steps on. He stands at 6’5″ 225 lbs and has an 80″ wingspan. He is about 15 lbs heavier than he was in 2022 already too. His 2022 tape has me excited for his senior campaign because he was already a willing blocker, and with that added size could be an even bigger impact in that area. On the camp circuit he will surely grab attention with that size, and then the long strider should be able to keep it with his soft hands and the overall mismatch that he could be. Look for him to prove that he can be a mismatch nightmare. His camp schedule is below.

The frame that Adam is building upon will definitely get him the attention of the next level. He is 6’5″ 215 lbs, and has a 6’8″ wingspan. Adam also has experience in many alignments. Inline, H-back, and out wide. In the passing game, Adam is a reliable target. He catches the ball away from his body with soft hands. He has shown he can find the soft spots in coverage. He is a long strider in the open field, and that allows him to cover ground faster than he appears. In the run game, Adam is a very willing blocker. He does a good job of positioning himself so he has the leverage, and is between the defender and the ball. As he works on his strength Heberer could really improve his impact as a run blocker, and that would make him even more valuable to the next level.
