Cole is an impressive athlete. He pairs an impressive 6’2″ 175 lbs frame with 4.7 speed making him a legitimate dual threat QB. The tape shows a QB who can beat pursuit angles, finds and sets up blocks, and has a little bit of wiggle in one on one situations.

As a passer, Cole has a naturally strong arm. Even when throwing to the intermediate and deep levels he can keep it on a rope instead of floating it out there. In the short passing Erdmann has impressive tape. He can catch and throw in an instant with zip on the ball to hit tight windows. None of these high velocity throws would matter without accuracy and Cole has developed that too. He is a well rounded prospect who is sure to continue to move up this ranking as time goes on.
