Speed kills and if that doesn’t work a high motor can get you involved in a lot of plays. Ryan brings both of those traits to the field for the Chargers. I love the way they used him all along the DL, putting him in great matchups where his quick first step could give him a major advantage. Ryan did a good job of fighting through contact and showed that he could dip underneath OL and slip past them into the backfield. Coming off the edge against the run he does really well to not get too deep and instead squeezes down the line to make the TFL. This summer should be a good one for the athletic DL.
