His future at the college level might be on defense but don’t overlook the impact that Auston can have for the Highlanders on offense. Auston first emerged a few years ago as one of the top prospects in the state’s 2026 class. There was a lot of upside and the ceiling for him was incredibly high. Over the last two years, he’s started to realize that potential and continues to get better every time we’ve watched him in person. This year, he could be one of the top two-way players in the state.
