Perry is a bigger back that runs with power but does have the speed to take it the distance when he gets into the open field. He has a knack for making the first defender miss and is good at letting his blocks develop. He shows good patience and poise when he has the ball, following his blocks and bursting through the hole to gain chunk yardage. He is a threat to score whenever his team is in the redzone. He can be a gadget player, having the ability to do multiple things like throw the ball on trick plays and be affective when running wildcat. Perry carried the load for Castleview, rushing 25 times for 167 yards and a touchdown. Perry consistently picked up chunk yardage, using his vision and ability to make defenders miss to keep the offense moving. His tough running style made it difficult for the defense to bring him down on first contact. Perry’s ability to carry the workload and break off big runs helped Castleview control the tempo of the game and wear down the defense.
