Flores measures in at 6’2 275-pounds. He recently caught my eye at one of our showcase events. He plays tackle and center for Castle View. Flores has very good hand placement paired with good hand strength and strength. He has good initial quickness out of his stance with good hand speed. Flores maintains a low pad level throughout with very good knee bend, good flexibility, balance, and body control. Flores does a good job at pull blocking and creating space for his running back. Good anchor as well. I’m looking forward to seeing Flores continue his development. I believe he’s best suited for being an interior lineman.
Flores thrived during the 1 on 1’s drills. He has good knee bend, flexibility, and balance, allowing him to maintain a low pad level throughout the rep. Good initial quickness to engage with the defender first. He has good strength with very good hand placement and hand strength. Controlled and steered his opponent easily. He stayed square and maintained a good anchor against some feisty defensive lineman. He has some good potential, and I’m excited to see continue developing !
Measuring in at 6’1 255 pounds, Flores played LT his sophomore year. He has good strength. Flores starts with a low pad, engaging with the defender first. He has good hand placement, and good hand strength. Very powerful legs to drive forward and push defenders back. Flores’ run blocking ability stood out to me. He showed his aggressiveness and explosiveness to create running lanes. In the passing game, he uses his good anchor to neutralize the pass rusher. With all these young players, I’m excited to see Flores continue develop as a prospect.
