Blanchard measures in at 5’10 154-pounds playing CB and safety. This past season, he had 5 total tackles and 2 pass deflections, however he has been balling out in the camp circuit. Blanchard has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and jumping. Good read and reaction speed. Trusts his ball instincts. Blanchard does a good job jamming the receiver at the line of scrimmage. He has a smooth back pedal and fluid hips to match speedy receivers breaking into their route. Very good man coverage. He uses his speed to stay stride for stride and very good closing quickness to create pass deflections. Good tackling as well. He’s a prime breakout candidate this upcoming season.

Blanchard had a day during the event. He did great during the drills, however; I was thoroughly impressed watching him during the competition portion. A technically sound, scrappy corner. Blanchard did a great job jamming WRs at the LOS and re-routing them. Smooth and controlled back pedal with a fluid torso to match WR’s breaking off into their route. Blanchard would stick to them like glue, staying stride for stride. Very good closing quickness. Great timing on his pass break ups. Very good ball tracking. He got in front of the WR, propelled himself up and got the interception. He gave wideouts little to no separation and balled out throughout. He’s also the younger brother of Army TE Jackson Blanchard who was also an attendant at our events in the past. Great talent runs in the family!

Blanchard turned in a strong performance, showcasing the traits of a defensive back who is trending upward. His hip fluidity allowed him to stay connected to receivers, maintaining tight coverage and limiting separation. Blanchard consistently demonstrated the ability to stay hip to hip, which is critical when facing quality pass catchers. He also showed confidence and competitiveness, stepping up to challenge top talent throughout the event. His quick reactions and willingness to jump routes added another dimension to his game. Performances like this indicate a player gaining confidence and refining his skill set, positioning Blanchard as a rising name to keep an eye on moving forward.
