The 23rd overall ranked prospect from New Jersey’s 2028 class Mekhi Parker was balling for Level 82. He caught Vic’s eye early and that is not surprising considering he seems to have the attention of a number of FBS recruiters. Parker was a big reason why Level 82 went to the championship game, a playmaker who will be playing on Saturdays soon.

Heading into the weekend, Vic asked me a simple question: “Who are the players to watch coming out of New Jersey?” The first name that came to mind was

— and he didn’t disappoint. From the moment he stepped on the field, it was clear he was a different caliber of athlete. He was nearly impossible to cover, showcasing the full WR1 toolkit: speed, size, athleticism in space, and elite hands.
He capped off the PA Classic as the tournament’s undisputed MVP and top overall performer — a title backed up by a chorus of praise from scouts and coaches alike. Parker, one of the top receiving threats in the state, suits up for a loaded Glassboro squad and lived up to every bit of the hype. With offers already in from schools like Syracuse, UConn, and UTSA, and more sure to follow, Parker’s stock is only rising. Expect big things from him — and from Glassboro — in 2025.

Mekhi is an alien of a football player. Listed at 6’2” as a 2028 brings huge potential, and Mekhi has the talent to put everything together as a someone to look out for nationally. He was a contested ball monster both Saturday and Sunday. Whenever I watched SHEC Elite, they opened up with a deep ball, and Mekhi was the main target. He has a monster vertical and has great hands. He can get open over the middle of the field as well, and can be a playmaker if given the space to run.

has all the makings of a breakout star. At 6’2”, 175 pounds, he blends size, speed, and fluidity—rare traits for a young receiver. His freshman season was a highlight reel, showing off his acrobatic catches, body control, and ability to track the ball deep. He wins in contested situations and can burn defensive backs with his athleticism.
Parker is set up for a monster sophomore campaign with his quarterback returning and chemistry already built. He holds an offer from Syracuse, but that list should grow quickly. He has the tools to be one of the most talked-about receivers in New Jersey.

adds to an embarrassment of riches for the Bulldogs. Parker is another stud athlete. Different from his teammates, Parker can leap into a building and has outstanding ball skills, allowing him to high point the ball at its apex while he does so with his hands. A vertical presence, he also tracks the deep ball over his shoulder extremely well. As he gets older he will learn to snap his hips more, but he does have a good sense on how to manipulate his speed and footwork to get defenders to slow their feet in order for him to blow past them. Parker’s speed might be his biggest asset though, as we see him as the wildcat and uses his speed to gain the perimeter. Running mostly verticals and return-type routes, I wish to see a wider variety of routes ran and more blocking on his film.

, a freshman from Glassboro, had a freshman year that turned heads. He excelled as a three-sport athlete in basketball, football, and track. At 6’3” and 175 pounds, Parker showcases a rare blend of size and athleticism. While he’s a versatile player who can line up as a quarterback, he shines as a wide receiver.
What stands out immediately is his ability to dominate vertically. Parker wins off the line of scrimmage, tracks the ball well on deep passes, and accelerates in the open field, turning plays into touchdowns. His route-running ability is advanced for his age. Watching him execute double moves and run a full route tree is promising and suggests his game will continue to develop.
Another standout trait is his toughness. Parker consistently makes catches in traffic and holds on through contact, a skill that separates him from other young wideouts. Recently earning an offer from UConn, Parker is just starting to gain attention. Once his film circulates further, he’s poised to become one of the most exciting prospects in his class.

Glassboro must be doing something right, because they consistently have the most talented underclassmen in the state. Not only that, but the freshman from a year ago got a ton of playing time in at the varsity level in 2023. This trend may continue once again in 2024 with freshman receiver

. A tall target for a freshman, Mekhi can outstretch those he goes up against for the ball. Mekhi is a larger than life target to throw to, giving Kristopher Foster a player with a large range to throw towards.

got the chance to play a big part in Glassboro’s offense last season as a freshman, and I expect a similar impact from Mekhi. He will give Glassboro a receiver that you can toss it up to and be sure he has high probability of outcompeting the defender for the ball. With the hands strength and vertical capabilities Mekhi has, very few DBs will be able to contend with him.

Pay attention to what’s going on at Glassboro High School in South Jersey. For being a small high school, where upperclassmen typically make up the majority of the roster, they reached the NJSIAA Group 1 State Championship with a roster that was nearly half freshman and sophomores. Parker is the prospect leading the charge in this 2028 class and gives the Bulldogs another 6’2″+ option on the outside.
