Gooden could very well be the top offensive guard prospect not just in this state but the entire country! That’s a big statement to make but when you turn on his film, you can see what I’m talking about as Gooden is a road grader with tremendous athleticism and mobility as well as that dog mentality in the trenches that goes far in the game of football. This guy is a mauler who bursts out of his stance quickly then punishes his opponent. Gooden can also work the finesse game as well meaning he has lite, easy feet that could play some tackle if needed. The Mustangs rising junior has all the physical tools and traits you look for in an O-lineman, so you can see why just about every school in the country is in pursuit and why Gooden is the #1 ranked prospect at his position within our #TN2025 class.
The Red Raiders have been producing some high level offensive linemen over the past few years and Bryson looks like the next one in line. This 6 ‘4 athletic and versatile big man played a key role across the Baylor O-line last year during their run to the D2-Class AAA state championship and now this Fall, Bryson will step into a lead role as the Red Raiders’ possible left tackle. He sports the lower base agility and bend to handle the rush on the outside but also has a versatile skill set to play guard or center as well. As we head into the new football season, Bryson has yet to see his recruitment take off but he has plenty of interest from Power Five, D1 programs. Coaches are just waiting to see new film before they extend offers and I think they will come quickly this Fall as Bryson is too talented to look past much longer.

While Gooden may get the top billing and star status at Lipscomb Academy, Adair is nobody to sleep on as he is considered a Power Five prospect himself and someone with tons of the physical traits that can be developed further on the next level. Sporting great height and length along with a nice frame to take on more size, Adair is an intriguing big man that can play several roles across the O-line. He is athletic and mobile enough to play some tackle but right now, collegiate coaches are looking at Adair for center and I can see why. The Mustangs junior shows nice bend and agility within his lower base along with the ability to get out his stance quickly and get to the second level. Adair must continue his work in the weight room and inside the trenches but excellent potential resides with this Mid-Tennessee O-lineman.
Better get to know about this Murfreesboro area O-lineman because Mowl looks like the next great big man from Oakland that is destined for the collegiate ranks. Standing 6 ‘7 300 pounds, the Patriots rising junior is a massive human being on the line that opposing defenders will have a hard time moving off the ball and when you look over his highlights, you see more than just a big man, you see a good athlete too. Mowl has much work to do with his lower base agility and overall body movements but the potential is there to develop into a pass blocking tackle that could slide inside as well. He is already on the radar of many P5, D1 coaches but I believe his recruitment will take off this Fall after new film and coaching staffs are able to see his continued development on tape.
Long term potential and upside is exactly what I think about this East Tennessee product as Van Rensburg is a big, talented young man who is still learning the game but has the skill set to become a starting O-lineman in college one day. Sporting good size, arm length and natural power, the Smoky Bears rising junior had a strong sophomore campaign, handling the blind side for his offense and developing into one of the best at his position by season’s end. Van Rensburg is a good athlete that moves his feet well while maintaining balance and power. He does a good job of staying in front of his opponent with his mobile lower base then uses his strong hands to keep them at bay. Van Rensburg has much to learn and develop but the foundation is there to turn in a formidable blocker inside the college game.

A two sport star with talents on the baseball diamond as well as the gridiron, Ray is an interesting O-lineman to follow over the next two years as on film he shows the build and skill set to become a heavily recruited football prospect. The Owls junior offensive lineman gained good experience last year as a sophomore displaying excellent footwork along with mobility to stand up against the rush. Ray is a technician who works hard at his craft, which could provide versatility for the next level as the Memphis area O-lineman might be able to handle a variety of roles within the trenches. Much is left to learn for Ray as well as development on the field and inside the weight room must be done but I can see the potential as the next best O-lineman to come out of the Owls football program.

The best prospect to come out of Antioch in some time is this tall and long athletic O-lineman with upside as a college pass blocking tackle that already has Power Five offers and interest. Whitset has the physical traits that excite collegiate coaches but he is still far from a finished product. While the Bears rising junior has an excellent frame for added size, he is still a little light in the britches but the weight will come in time as Whitset continues to develop and grow. What has myself and college coaches intrigued with this Mid-Tennessee product is his athleticism and lower base agility that says he could protect the blind side on the next level. Whitset already has significant college interest but watch it grow even further after the start of the season when new film is available, showing his football development.
A massive young man with O-line versatility, Larkin is a large dude that started to show his potential this off-season by displaying clean footwork and the ability to stand up his defender with power as well as provide a glimpse of a possible future on the collegiate gridiron. The Raptors junior O-lineman looks and fits the part of an offensive guard but has shown enough lower base agility to handle right tackle if needed. He sports powerful hands, so when he locks on, it’s over but Larkin can also move his feet good enough to stay in front of the pass rush as well. He needs to continue working on his agility and bend as well as keep forming his body but the physical tools are there to watch his recruitment take off sooner than later.

Tall and long with an outstanding frame to put on more weight, Hacker is a long term upside prospect with the potential to play tackle on the next level, maybe even handling the blind side for his quarterback. The Mustangs rising junior gained experience last year as a sophomore, playing on a stacked offensive line and learning on the job but this Fall, Hacker will be stepping into a starting role, so much will be known about this 6’7 big man by the end of the year. What I like most about Hacker is his long arms, that keep defenders at bay along with his feet that show pass blocking upside. He needs to keep packing on the weight while continuing to develop his craft but all the physical traits are there to become a highly recruited D1, possible Power Five prospect.
Langley is a bully on the football field that brings nice physical size and position versatility to the trenches and is a good piece for the Bobcats coaching staff to build around on the offensive line. Last year as a sophomore, Langley gained significant experience as a starter that took snaps at different positions, showing off his value for the next level. The Bobcats junior is built best right now to help in the run game but has shown traits and upside as a potential pass blocker that could take snaps at tackle. Langley is the kind of talent that I think will get better over time as he matures and gains more experience. This Fall will be a big indicator as to where he is on his development and how high Langley can take his talents.
Starting at center as a sophomore, Smith will be a well seasoned vet by the time his high school career is over and someone that might be able to step onto the college playing field as a freshman and compete for a starting role. The Lions interior O-lineman plays a clean, steady brand of football along with high football intelligence and versatility. Smith could grow and develop at all three interior O-line positions but I believe his biggest upside resides at center. He has the build and mental makeup to handle all the responsibilities that come with playing center and the work ethic to become a captain and team leader. Two years remain with his high school career, so much is left to learn for Smith but the foundation is there to become a starting college O-lineman one day.

The coming Fall football season will be big for this East Tennessee O-lineman as Taylor looks to make a mark as the top O-lineman on the Hornets roster while establishing himself as a bonafide college prospect. Taylor is still developing both on the field and inside the weight room but sports a good frame along with a powerful lower base and active feet that can excel on the next level. The Hornets junior lineman squares up his defenders well, keeping them in front while using his strong hands to maintain leverage. He also has a versatile skill set where Taylor can almost work all five offensive line positions but might have stronger upside in the middle at guard or center. A high character kid with a strong work ethic, Taylor will take his game and recruitment a long way this Fall with a banner junior season.

Tall and long with a great frame for added size, Meadows is a rising West Tennessee star that picked up tons of interest this summer after his work during camp season and now must take that momentum into the Fall season and excel. The Eagles rising junior has the physical traits and tools college coaches enjoy working with and developing but Meadows is still raw and learning while enhancing his body. He is a good athlete that moves well laterally while also having the arm length to keep defenders at bay but is lacking the girth and strength needed to maintain on the college field. That weight will come in time as this West Tennessee product grows and matures but you can definitely see the upside and why collegiate coaches have already gotten involved.
Starting at center as a sophomore on the 2022 Class 4A State Championship team, Murphy already has a leg up on the competition when it comes to major accolades but now he must step up this Fall as a somewhat veteran that takes his game to another level and becomes an official college prospect. The Mavericks junior big man is a technician in the middle who shows clean snaps and the ability to get out of his stance quickly and wall up the opposition. Murphy shows good athleticism on film as well as the ability to get out and pull, so that tells me he could develop guard if needed. His football smarts, experience and versatility should appeal to collegiate coaches as they look for a dependable O-lineman that can become a future team captain.
