Going back to last January, Benedictine’s Maddox Cochrane Maddox Cochrane 6'7" | 270 lbs | OL Benedictine College | 2026 State VA has been on Power 5 football schools radars. This week he picked up an offer from North Carolina State making that 14 FBS level offers in less than a year. The verdict is out on Cochrane he is a 6’7 beast, major stock riser. Ranked 13th overall in the 2026 group I would not be surprised if his ranking moved closer to the top.

Maddox is one of the best offensive tackles in the state and mans the left tackle position for Benedictine. He moves very well on the field for his size and can bend. He can be utilized in Gap and Zone schemes. Has the athleticism to get to the second level and block linebackers. Very good pass protection and anchor. He will be key to their success.
