About Matt

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is Matthew Zielinski. I am a sophomore/rising Junior at St. Francis High School (Max Prep team ranking # 9 in New York State and # 1 in WNY) in Athol Springs NY (Class of 2026). I started at Slot Receiver (#14, 6'1 FT., 178 LBS.) and our team advanced to the New York State Catholic Championship game. I started playing football at the age of 7 and I have never stopped.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My goal has always been to play football at the collegiate level. I understand that to play at the college level it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, not only on the field but in the classroom. My training consists of strength and speed training, plyometrics, as well as route running, footwork, and catching drills (training 4-5 days a week).

He has soft hands and possesses a great vertical leap to go and get the ball at its highest point. He was also a major contributor on special teams making tackles and recording a blocked extra point. St. Francis’ top 3 receiving targets are all off to college next season so Zielinski has the chance to put the Monsignor Martin league on notice.
