Mozes Morris – RB – Lake Norman
At 6’0 and 180 pounds, Morris received All-Conference recognition as a freshman which is an impressive feat. Turning on the tape, electric athleticism jumps out at you in both the running game and catching passes out of the backfield. He has good speed and a nice spin move that he pulls out to elude defenders in the open field. He finished the season with 635 total yards from scrimmage and 11 touchdowns. He has Division 1 interest already and rightfully so. Mozes will be a name we hear for years to come from the lake.
Jackson Debe Jackson Debe 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Providence | 2026 State NC – QB – Providence
I first saw Jackson when he was still on JV early in the Panthers season, and he had all of the tools – a big strong arm, good touch on deep passes, good accuracy all over the field, and I was told he was going to be big time. Fast forward to him being moved to the varsity and putting up some nice numbers, along with now receiving Division 1 offers, it is all coming together very quickly! Jackson has offers from East Carolina, Liberty, Charlotte, and Boston College and there will be a lot more to come in the future. The exciting thing is Jackson is also a very good baseball player – and coaches love quarterbacks that play baseball because they are taught how to throw from different arm angles and such, and those come in handy on the football field. I’m excited to see how Jackson progresses throughout his career and matures into a major Division 1 prospect.
Anthony Cook Anthony Cook 6'0" | 250 lbs | OL North Meck | 2026 NC – OL – North Mecklenburg
To see a freshman playing varsity football is one thing, but a freshman playing varsity offensive line in one of the toughest conferences in the state is a whole different thing in itself. But Anthony did that, and he did a pretty good job with it overall. At 6’0 and 250 pounds, he has the build to develop into a stout and powerful interior offensive lineman once his high school career is complete. He already displays good drive run blocking form and focuses on finishing his blocks to the echo of the whistle, great traits to develop while he is young. In pass protection, he is strong at the point of attack with a good punch, and as he grows and gains more strength in the weight room he will be able to sustain after that initial punch well. A very good OL prospect to keep an eye on!
Rodney Dunham Rodney Dunham 6'4" | 210 lbs | DL Myers Park | 2026 State NC – WR – Myers Park
I didn’t know much about this young man initially, but once you turn on the tape it’s evident that Rodney has some real talent. Myers Park was smart in how they used him – he played a lot at tight end, wide receiver, and defensive end because sometimes you never know where a kid is going to end up once he becomes a senior in your program. At tight end, he was just a matchup nightmare on the JV level and he scored multiple touchdowns on seam and corner routes. At wide receiver, he showed no fear going over the middle and making tough catches, and picking up yards after the catch. And at defensive end, he showed well in the pass rush game with an added ability to shed blocks in the run game and make plays in the backfield. He will be a fun player to watch as he continues to progress throughout his career.
Brilison McCullers Brilison McCullers 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Millbrook | 2026 State NC – RB – Sanderson
It’s always an impressive thing when the first highlight you watch a player goes untouched 70 yards for a touchdown. Now that gets your attention. And with Brilison, it illustrates why he is going to be a player to watch for the next 3 years in the state of North Carolina. At 5’9 and 185 pounds, Brilison has a very nice one-cut-and-go type of running style that emphasizes getting north and south and downhill immediately. He has good vision on the interior run game that allows him to see holes in their scheme and anticipate and maximize yardage well. He also has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield well and make plays after the catch. They have a good one up in the Raleigh area!
