Several young men performed well and were recognized as top performers – we will take a look at the Defensive Linemen Top Performers here.
Mason Grier – Northwestern (SC) – A 6’1 235 defensive end prospect in the Class of 2025, I loved Grier’s get-off at the snap. Mason did a great job of tying his get-off with hand usage, allowing him to apply pressure in his one-on-one battles with offensive linemen throughout the showcase. Mason also worked a combination of pass-rush moves, including a nice spin move which you can see in this clip below.
Omaryon Hayes – East Forsyth – At 6’2 and 340 pounds, Omaryon was very strong going against interior offensive linemen throughout the 1 on 1 portion of the showcase. Watching him on film, he is a run-stopper first and foremost, but it is obvious he has put in a lot of good work in the offseason so far – he moved well for his size through the agility drill circuit during the showcase, and performed well during the individual portion of the showcase. Omaryon is a Class of 2026 prospect.

– Corinth Holders – At 6’2 and 270 pounds, Korbyn has the size to play inside, but the athleticism to play outside on the defensive front. Looking at his highlight film, I am impressed with the strength Korbyn shows in both stopping the run and rushing the passer from his position. Korbyn uses his hands well to shed blocks and make plays in the interior run game. Korbyn’s pass rush is strength-based, as he uses power moves with his hands and collapses the pocket quickly from the end position especially.
Malachi Jefferson – James Island (SC) – A good friend of mine told me this young man would be one to watch, and he definitely was. Malachi’s first two steps were impressive on all of his 1 on 1 reps against offensive linemen, and that gave him the advantage consistently during that portion of the showcase. Malachi is a Class of 2025 prospect. Here is one of his dominant reps in the clip below:
Garrison Dibble – Atkins – A 6’4 240 pound Class of 2025 prospect, Garrison recently received an offer from Navy, and he backed that up with a strong performance at this showcase. Consistently showing a mix of power and speed moves, Garrison was an easy Top Performer selection. He moved well throughout the agility circuit with nice speed and fluidity, and he showed he took well to coaching throughout the showcase’s individual period. Garrison has also been offered by Bryant University, and figures to pick up a lot more interest and offers as he continues to go through the camp season.
